Acts 2 following

Acts 2:22: Peter speaks about the Lord Jesus as a man.

He gave up all the priviliges that He had. He became a man and is a man for all eternity. We worship Him because He is God. He is also our elder brother (Rom.8:29). There is one man who overcame. He calls us to over come as well.

He was a man tested by God. In the days of Joshua by stopping the sun. John the Baptist did no miracle. These are the men of God who are going to make a difference.

Acts 2:23: We are not saved from harm. God allowed this to happen to the Lord Jesus. We can forgive them because everything was in His foreknown plan of God. Sin brings forth death. Jesus never sinned. It is wonderful to have God on our side. Do not fear man.
He is at my right hand not to be shaken. Not sin and our tongue exalts the Lord Jesus (Ps.16:8-11).

Acts 2:29: Jesus was in the depth of the earth: Lazarus, Abraham, Thief.

Acts 2:31-33: Jesus came out and was exalted to the right hand of God. Ps.110:1. Lord and Christ that was the point what he wanted to say. They realised that God thought different then men. We are guilty. We are guilty of denying and crucifying the Lord Jesus. Going to heaven is a by product. The Gospel is how to make Him Lord .

Acts 2:38: Change your mind about the Lord Jesus. Identify the Son Jesus Christ. The true God (Efz.1:3). The same baptism of the Holy Spirit, they could receive. The first message is repent. Give up your sin and believe!

Acts 2:39: The promise of forgiveness and the gift of the Spirit is for you We can receive forgiveness of sin and the gift of the Holy Spirit

Acts 2:40-42: The burden of his message. Be saved from this crooked generation. Who were baptised? Those who received His Word. 2:42;14. They continually. They devoted themselves. The breaking of bread and to prayer. Fellowship is personal, Before and after (1:14). Result is awe. Outside and inside the church. Love for eachother.
